Robinhood support runs through the app: open Help, choose Contact Support and request a call or a chat, and Robinhood calls you back. Robinhood does not publish a number to call in and does not call customers out of the blue, so treat any unexpected call, and any support number you find through a web search, as a likely scam. The address report@robinhood.com is a reporting mailbox, meant for suspicious messages and security concerns rather than day-to-day support questions. The head office is at 85 Willow Rd, Menlo Park, California, which is where a paper letter goes.

Restrictions usually come from one of a few triggers: an identity or address check that is still open, a request for extra documents, a deposit that was reversed and left a negative balance, or activity that Robinhood flagged as unusual. Check the in-app notifications and the email address linked to your account: the reason and the documents Robinhood wants are normally stated there. Upload documents only through the app, never through a link someone sends you, and keep a copy of everything you submit together with the dates.

Money you just deposited can be held for a period before it can be withdrawn, and the proceeds of a sale have to settle before you can move them out. Crypto withdrawals can be limited until extra verification is complete, and a withdrawal to a bank account other than the one you funded with often triggers additional checks. Look at the hold or pending status in the app and in your transaction history: it usually shows when the funds become available.

If that date passes and the money still does not move, document every transaction and every support contact with dates and reference numbers: that record is what any dispute is built on, whether with Robinhood, your bank or a regulator.

Not if it gives you a number to call or a link to tap. Robinhood says it never sends links in text messages and never asks for your password, two-factor code or a transfer of money. Fake "withdrawal in progress" alerts that lead to a phone line run by people posing as its security team are a known trick.
