Robinhood complaint: Verification Process and Restrictions placed on account

My complaint:

I recently discovered that I was locked out of my Robinhood account so I was trying to reset my password. Robinhood asked questions about checking accounts that I never had linked to a Robinhood account. One was my student loan distribution company who disperses my student loans each semester and they had access to the information when I never had it linked to my account. The other checking accounts that they’re asking me about were checking accounts I’ve never had before.I was told that I had to verify my identity by submitting my driver’s license and a selfie by a third party verification company to prove I was who I said I was. I have done this over 15 times.

Each time I called they asked me the same verification questions that I don’t know the answers to and how many repeat the steps of submitting my driver’s license and doing the selfie and then they advise me to call when it’s done I do so and they asked me the same questions that I don’t know the answers to and I get nowhere. They’ve even said that they locked my account and put a restriction on it because I wouldn’t provide the information that they wanted. Like I said before I have submitted that 15 times. Now they’re asking for financial documentation to the account so I don’t even have?

When I called and talk to a representative she was asking me all kinds of questions about what type of countries I visited and if I logged into my Robinhood account from different countries. After doing research I found out there is a major security breach and millions of people’s information was compromised. I’m assuming that this is the same situation with me but every time I call they deny me the opportunity to speak to supervisor because I’m not verified and keep refusing to help me because I cannot answer security questions because I don’t remember.

Suggested solution:

They should reinstate my account let me talk to your supervisor to explain the situation or send me my money that I have in my Robinhood account so I can invest somewhere else
