My complaint:

I am writing to enquire about a problem that has been struggling with the students on zoom.
Normally, our lecturers would suggest us to comment so that heshe would know whether the students understand the lecture or vice versa.
However, when the chatbox is filled with let’s say 1000 chat messages, the zoom meeting would be very laggy, especially for computer’s users.
Henceforth, the lecturer is forced to end the meeting and start the meeting again, in order to prevent lagging. However, what if the lecturer is recording the session? It would be disrupted and the recording would normally split into 2 recordings or more.
We have found out that the overwhelming messages in the chatbox is the main reason of lagging. It is the best if your team figures out a solution for this.

Suggested solution:

Perhaps an option of clearing the chat would be perfect?
