Wingstop complaint: Receipt of wrongincomplete order

My complaint:

On 81022, my roommate and I stopped at the WingStop 154 for an order of 3, 8 piece wings plus French Fries. We were taking it to a friend in the hospital for us to have a celebratory meal with her for her discharge the next day. It was 10 miles away. When we got there and opened the order, where there was supposed to be 3 orders of French Fries, we only had 2. Where there was supposed to be an order of BONELESS unflavored wings, they were bone in and swimming in grease. The rest of the order was ok. When I called today, 811, and spoke to the manager, she stated there was NOTHING she could do because I SHOULD have called and returned the full order in order to get a refund or to make the order correct. I told her we were already in the hospital and opening the food when we noticed it. She said it didn’t matter because the POLICY was that the food had to all be returned for any corrections. I was shocked and asked her what she did with the returned food, and she said they weight it and Throw It Away!! That is insane!! How awfully wasteful! and idiotic! I will NEVER eat at that WingStop again and will make sure everyone I know is aware of that policy of wastefulness. If this is truly WingStops policy, it is stupid.

Suggested solution:

Either refund my money or offer to make the incorrect portions of the order, right.
