Whataburger complaint: Bad service

My complaint:

My family and I have been going to this whatabuger location since it has been there. And while occasionally that might put tomatoes on a no tomatoes burger that would be it however the last few times we have come has been ridiculous. I ordered 2 meals 2 fries and a chocolate malt. First issue was they had no chocolate malt but had vanilla and asked if that was okay if they gave us chocolate syrup for me to mix in. Fine thank you for your consideration then we wait for 45 minutes when the have a staff of at least 7 workers that I saw at the time working. I ordered a takeout order that said it would be ready by 5:51. We did not receive our order till 6:40. While that is fine they were busy I expected hot food. It was lukewarm at best. The fries were so small like nugget fries. And I was missing a fry also by the time I got my malt home it was foaming and like water it was so melted. Not only that but while there my husband was told we don’t have any tea. Which would have been fine if it was true as just 5 minutes later they gave another customer tea. So I asked another employee and she said let me check she never came back. We asked a third gentleman and he brought us our tea and food. While everyone spoke nicely to us never rude there was NO sense of urgency whatsoever in that store. When we came back after going home and seeing our order was wrong, NO ONE acknowledged we were there. I had walked straight up to the counter as the lobby was not very busy(3people in line, 4 tables, and 3 people standing waiting) well no one was at the counter and the 3 people that passed by just looked at me and said nothing. It doesn’t take but a moment to say one moment be right with you So my husband and I got in line to wait to speak with someone. They did eventually replace our meal with one that was hot when we brought our order to their attention which was very nice. It took them all of 15 minutes to remake our entire order fresh.

Suggested solution:

This store or maybe just that shift needs to be taught a sense of urgency. They also need to be better organized. Other than that as I wasn't aware of any other underlying issues I can't say but definitely some kind of retraining is in order.
