My complaint:

Employee who was filling my family’s order was extremely rude. She had mistaken our order for a door dash order (we used the mobile app). She was constantly complaining about having to make the order, complaining about how it was annoying how she’d rather kill herself and stab a pencil through her eye than fulfill our order. All of this in earshot of my young children. Look, I understand people have a bad day, but this behavior is extremely uncalled for, especially by a service employee, in front of customers. What’s more the shift manager (or equivalent) was standing right there, did not correct the behavior, did not offer any kind of apology, nothing. We had to remind them to give us the last drink order (minor issue but things add up). They completely screwed up my wife’s order which included an item we paid for not even being in the bag. Okay so around to the drive through we go, the lady at the window was also rude that we decided to inconvenience her with getting some corrections. I was not rude in my language or mannerisms when dealing with the lady in the window, whom proceeded to tell us it was our fault the order was messed up. When we got home… the corrected food was under cooked.

Again, I understand things happen, people have crap days, we are all human. However, I’m finding it hard to believe that the entire shifts day was so bad that they couldn’t at least show a modicum of respect to a paying employee, whom was polite to them the entire time.

I work hard for my money, most people do. I’d appreciate it if this Wendy’s location would respect everyone’s time and money as well.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Suggested solution:

Well first of all, the employee whos life is so miserable they'd rather make off color comments about suicide, obviously thinking it's a joke, should be fired and potentially referred to therapy. We (as in people) make light of things like this while paying no attention to those around us. You have no idea what someone that hears that is going through. Look up the statistics of suicide in this country, look up how many mothers, fathers, and service men commit suicide in this country per year and tell me if you think it's professional for an employee to be joking about it in the workplace.

The manager and who ever was working the window should probably be re-trained on customer service. DO NOT read that as the manager should have flipped out on the girl in front of me, that's not what I meant and definitely wouldn't have been appropriate. She should have made a brief, on the spot correction and then pulled the offending employees to the side immediately after the incident and corrected the behavior.
