Wayfair.co.uk complaint: Lost in Space

My complaint:

Order number 356 was paid for on 28 April – only the table was delivered.

The chairs that are meant be used with the table are lost somewhere in the vast expanse between customer expectation and the harsh reality of indifference to abysmal service: NASA can tell you exactly where a small robotic vehicle is on the surface of Mars – but you can’t tell me where my chairs are, let alone deliver them!

Sleep with dogs and you wake with fleas: you entrust deliveries to a firm of clowns and wonder why people like me now regard Wayfair as a painful joke….

1 Wayfair told that delivery had to be after the 17th May as we were on holiday before that date…we get a text on the 10th saying the delivery men are outside the house, brilliant – we are in Devon!!!!

2 On return, we contact Wayfair – Cust Services rep cancels original order and reorders table and chairs.

3 Table arrives on 26th May but no chairs

4 I speak to Wayfair on 28th – tracking says chairs delivered on 26th…much sympathy and soothing noises from cust services – chairs will be delivered ASAP

5 31 May, wife told by Wayfair that no record of any conversation on 28th exists but[Andrew ?] says he will begin an investigation

6 June 1 Wife receives text saying chairs delivered between 08:11 and 10:11 that day [Tuesday June 1st ]…….no delivery so wife contacts Wayfair – who have no idea where the chairs are.

7 I contact Wayfair at 1720 on June 1st and ask why text was sent, who by and why it was sent if delivery was not to be made.

Ladies and Gentlemen, you only get to have one reputation, why risk it by using clowns?

Where are the bloody chairs?
