My complaint:

I bought a defective cell phone on walmart.com, sold by one of their 3rd party sellers. After several attempts to reach the seller with no response, Walmart said that they would refund my money as a courtesy after receiving the phone back. They emailed me a return label, but FedEx wouldn’t accept it because an additional barcode or something was missing.

I contacted Walmart and they said they had to cancel the return in order to create a new one and generate a new label. But once they cancelled the return, the system wouldn’t allow them to create a new one and I’ve been in a hellish nightmare ever since.

I’ve called, emailed and chatted with a dozen representatives, and one of the last wasted 53 minutes of my life while she pretended to schedule a FedEx pickup. She even gave me a ation number! And after hours of seeing no return initiated on my Walmart account, I called back and was told there was no record of the return or FedEx pickup. She outright fabricated scheduling my return!!

Walmart is taking zero responsibility and saying that the deadline for me to return the phone has now passed so I’m tough out of luck. Meanwhile, I’m out of my money and out of a phone because the phone is completely unusable.

Suggested solution:

Walmart should provide me with a WORKING return label and a full refund as promised.
