My complaint:

Want to express some serious concerns pertaining to Walgreens and the efficienty not given with us as customers. First of all, recently upon getting a new prescription following a hospital visit, Walgreens had my address in another state. Don’t know how that happened. Then, when getting insulin, I was only able to get one pen at a time, costing $27. Then had a pen or two received that would not work, and was advised by Walgreens would have to go through manufacturer to get it resolved, with me not having any backup. After several minutes of argueing with them, I was finally given a replacement. So also called my doctor to have a new prescription for insulen sent to Publix pharmacy where just got 4 pens cositing $35 for 4. Why is there such a difference in cost? Is someone pocketing money on miscalculating totals for prescriptions. Also, every time we would go to pick up a med, would have to wait several minutes just to get waited on, yet again, having someone different everytime you would go. Someone at this store is not doing job as well as not paying attention to client satisfaction and precise filling. What should we do?

Suggested solution:

Someone needs to monitor this pharmacy actions. Seems like everytime we go there, an issue arises with service and availability as well as cost. Need actions fixed.

1 month ago - Did call the complaint department of Walgreens as well. Was advised someone would be calling me back relative to my phone complaint. This is the Walgreens Pharmacy located on Merrill Road here in Jacksonville, FL. Will see if get callback or not. Pauline Hall
