My complaint:
I was filling my monthly prescription like I always do, upon leaving the dr office because it is 25 minutes away from my house and usually go late in the day and want to avoid rush hour traffic. Today, I went to the pharmacy, I’m well aware they just received the prescription because I only left the office 20 minutes ago. I was perfectly fine waiting and was in no rush. I was picking up my adderall that I was filling 6 days after my last prescription was due as I use it as needed. As I’m patiently sitting there minding my own business, I hear the pharmacist say to the cashier “is she the one waiting.. the one who is staring at me… she always waits for it…” where he replies “definitely a waiter, she’s been here for like 20 minutes” . I was taken back because A. I wasn’t even looking in the pharmacist’s direction, I was on my cell phone playing solitaire B. Why am I “allowed” to wait for it to be ready if I’m gonna be criticized for doing it “every time. They were laughing with each other making fun of me like I’m some type of person doing shady behavior. I started shaking because I was so upset that these people were speaking about me like this as if I can’t hear them and as if they know anything about me. All I could muster up was “that was very rude I will never be returning to this pharmacy again while my voice cracked and i was clearly hurt by their words. I think it’s absolutely terrible what they did and they have no right to make me feel this way
Suggested solution:
They should be spoken to from management and truthfully I would like an apology from the pharmacist
