My complaint:

I bought a San Diego Comic Con 4-Day Pass. Originally, it was for July 2020, but then got postponed to July 2021, then got postponed again to July 2022. I called Vivid Seats months before the event for reassurance, being that I was coming from another state (which they had to have known being that it was included in my purchase) which would includeinvolve plane tickets, a hotel, and a car rental, and they said that my Comic-Con Pass was going to get sent to either the address I would provide or at the San Diego Convention Center where the event is taking place. So, they said that one way or another, I was going to get my Pass. I arrived in San Diego on 7-20-22, the day before the first day, so obviously I already paid for my plane tickets, my studio stay, and my car rental. Also, on 7-20-22, I called Vivid Seats and they said that my Pass would be delivered via UPS. The UPS truck arrived, but didn’t have anything for me. I provided the address of that location to which I am staying. I called Vivid Seats again and they told me to call them the following morning. I called the following morning. They then told me that the Pass did not get shipped and was not going to get shipped. They then said that they were going to refund me my money with a 10% credit. I did get my refund, but because of their word and reassurance from months ago as well as on 7-20-22, I am now out alot of money’s worth of two plane tickets, a five-night studio stay, and a partial car rental.

Suggested solution:

I understand that their department is just ticket-buying and ticket-selling, as well as ticket-refunding, but because of their word and reassurance, along with knowledge that I was coming from a different state (which was included in my purchase), that I was going to get my 4-Day Pass, I now ended up being out a lot of money's worth of two plane tickets, a five-night studio stay, and a partial car rental, as stated above. With all due respect, I feel that Vivid Seats should reimburse me for my traveling expenses, being that their word and reassurance is the reason why I went through with my traveling.
