My complaint:
I sold an item on Vinted on 03/02/24, the item was shipped using a prepaid label for Yodel provided by Vinted. The parcel was double wrapped in thick bubble wrap and was labelled as frigile. The buyer received the item on 08/02/24 and reported that the item had arrived damaged. The perfume bottl has been smashed. The buyer stated in their correspondence to Vinted that the parcel was responsibly packaged and that the damaged had obviously occurred during transit. I said the same to Vinted. Vinted however are refusing to accept any responsibility, contrary to their compensation policy. Please find attached an image of the damaged item as provided by the buyer. The buyer also clearly states that the item was bubble wrapped and that the damage must have occureed in transit. Vinted are not complying with their policy regarding items damaged in transit and refusing to help. This is negatively affecting both myself and the buyer. Any help on this matter will be gratefully received
Suggested solution:
I want to be compensated for the full amount of the item that was damaged (£40) and I would like the buyer to be refunded for the item that was damaged.
