My complaint:

I am unhappy with the way how Vinted has dealt with a situation concerning an item I sold to buyer, which the buyer reported as damaged. From what access I was given, all I was shown was 1 photo showing the broken item. I requested further photographic evidence from Vinted who said they were not permitted to share it from the buyer. I find this unacceptable given Vinted ruled in the favour of the buyer and claimed I did not package the item correctly. Despite this they could not or would not show me evidence of how I had packaged the item incorrectly. I have not been given a fair opportunity to respond. I believe that the item sustained unacceptable impact with the courier, or the buyer broke the item and then claimed it was damaged in the delivery process. My feedback from other reviews showing similar items sold, expressed who well packaged the items have been. I always take good care and due diligence over the items, as I take pride in being a 5 seller. I note that the delivery company used was Yodel. This involved me handing the item to a shop seller who then passed it on to the delivery company – the item has been through multiple 3rd parties.

Suggested solution:

They should compensate me for the broken item as I have lost out as well, and make a claim against the delivery company as I believe the item was not handled with reasonable care.
