My complaint:

Dear Sir Madam,

I am writing to you to raise an issue about: Uber Eats

The issue that I have experienced was: Firstly i do not find Uber help useful at all. The agents always provide generic answers via the app service. They only have options for tick boxes which is not useful for issues like this. Furthemore when you try contact via phone they hang up on you and direct you to the app. My main issue is I was charged for an order I never received. Firstly the order was scheduled for 12-12.30pm, the driver came and went all before 12pm which is unaccepatable. Secondly the driver did not even wait 5 mins before dissapearing which is also unacceptable. Thirdly the driver (allegedly) as per photo left the food on top of a rubbish bin which is unsanitary and rude. I was outside on the allotted time from uber and even called back the driver immediately without a response. I suspect the driver took a picture and took the food back because it all happend in a matter of minutes and there is no way food would have dissapeared that quickly. Uber even admitted i had contacted them shortly after delievery which is why there were querying delivery and this is after I had tried to contact driver multiple times so i completely puzzled.

It occurred on: 2022-08-01

This meant that I am out of pocket for food i did not receive, I do not believe uber are running an adequate service. The complaints team needs updating, same with policies as drivers have lack of care.
