My complaint:
On August172022 we purchased two tickets 17AUG2022SFO IST through the agency. we paid extra for leg room to assure c9omfort during this long fl8ight. Due to ci8rcumnstannes we had to change our flight Once we arr8ived at the airport and checked in they told us that our flight did not come with extra leg room and that we had lost that service for which we had paid for.
Furthermore, my wife s7uffers from hip pain which she has recently had a replacement on. Our connecting fl8ight was roughly 9- minutes to boarding. Upon arriving in Istanbul we kindly asked the staff for a wheelchair to hel0p my wife through the VERY LONG airport and they dd not provide and did nothing to hello. This walk from one end of airport to the other caused us to miss our connecting flight. Luckily we were able to catch the next flight out to our destination to
Antalya!
A few days later the agent called and said due to us missing out connecting flight to Antalya that now we have to either buy a complete new flight for our return flight on Nov 22nd 2022 or pay a penalty of $460.
We had no choice but to pay a penally to assure we kept the flight back to the
USA.
I would kindly like for you to take into consideration the circumstances of my wives health and the lack of knowledge from booking agent as well as the timeline of going form one end to the other that led to us missing our leg room and being penalized.
We are a long loyal family miles and smiles of frequent flyers with your airline and would hope to always chose you for travels!
