My complaint:

We entered the store at 4:30. At 4:40 the manager turned off the lights and starting screaming that the store was closed and that everyone needed to get in line or we wouldn‘t be allowed to check out.

Then as my husband and I waited in a very long line, she started screeching at me – me and another woman – “Get in line – shopping is over!!” because we were browsing the racks near us as we waited.

By the way this was at 5:00 when the website and the door said they close at six.

No explanation – no apology – my husband and I drove a half hour to shop the Wednesday sale and got ten minutes.

Suggested solution:

As I left, I said, “I’m filing a complaint about your rudeness” and she said, “Go right ahead, ma’am,” obviously not realizing that is the point at which a normal person apologizes or at least asks for input about the situation.
