The Salvation Army USA complaint: rude employee who happened to be the manager

My complaint:

I was an out of town customer on Saturday oct 22nd at 1:18pm and i have NEVER received such awful service and from a management position at that. My daughter had a quilt in her basket, upon checkout the quilt was pulled off the hanger and the price tag came off in the process. After searching for it we found it in the bags in the basket with the items purchased in this transaction. The lady who was checking us out at the register wanted to honor it as she knew the ticket had come off. she asked the manger who was next to her checking another customer out and he said rudely :no tag- no sale!! i said well i will put the tag on it and then can you check me out- he said NO again with extreme rude force. i said come on man- you know this tag goes with this quilt and the way the quilts are wrapped in the hanger it is a honest mistake of it falling off.- he said NO again and through out the process was rude. i KNOW he could of made a 1 time exception but he was being a real jerk. I was in town visiting my sister and i have been to the salvation army once before. i know the manager from the other visit as he held a kitchen table for an employee who was off that Saturday morning ( as i saw this transaction with my own eyes) the person who bought the table went to the back of the double doors after he paid for the table. that is how i knew either he worked there or this manager is letting his buddies go to the back. which one is it? i didn’t think anything of it but then after this time- i see the game he is playing. i usually donate to the salvation army in front of ANY store during Christmas with the Santa ringing the bell. I have very wealthy friends and if i have to will have them all NOT contribute to salvation army again. that’s how bad this visit was to this store!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he needs to be fired and i never want to see him at this store again. i live in Houston and was shocked at the way SAN ANTONIO runs non profit businesses.
i plan on filing a complaint with the state as well against the establishment. my daughter was crushed that she was unable to buy the quilt- she has been looking for that kind of quilt for a while. i think the manager had plans for that quilt like he does all the good stuff that passes this way.

Suggested solution:

the manager should be fired, apologize (which i know he wont) andor refund me my money spent there that day. its the principal !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!you are running a non profit organization for a cause to people that will help them and you get people like him representing the organization is just the opposite . he needs to work at the post office with that attitude !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
