My complaint:

I called a week prior to get assistance I was told to call back on Monday at 8:30am so I started calling at 8:20am. Phone was busy I kept calling until it started ringing. It ranged and ranged, then it hung up I assume because it ranged for so long, then I repeated this step multiple times until someone answered about 8:45am. Then I was told to call back on Tuesday cause the lady that do the rental assistance was not there. Ok so I assumed since I was told that she was not there that means they didn’t help anyone that day.

So I called on Tuesday and the lady came back I spoke to her she said for me to call her back at noon cause she wasn’t there the day before and she had to see what was going on I said ok. So I called her back at 12 noon and she stated to me that they used up the funds on the previous day so I have to call back next month in November. But how is that so when I talked to the gentleman the day before and he told me to call the next day for assistance?

I don’t understand now the person I was calling for is disabled, dialysis patient he just got out of the hospital for the Third time this month for renal failure on top of an eviction notice. I know it’s a non-profit organization but citizens who needs assistance depends on these places for assistance and nobody is ever on the same page. Now I don’t know what he is going to do now! It’s sad!!! And shameful! Usa right?

Suggested solution:

They should have multiple people in place to help not just one person. Everyone needs help every now and then and if you just have one person to help and they are not available when you need them then you are stuck and out of help like this gentleman is.
