My complaint:

First of all what draws us into the store is all the things on display in the entrance windows. We go inside only to find out that the manager won’t allow any of it to be sold, even if it was donated! She was quite rude and said, No, it’s not for sale, it’s a display. Or she would say, No, that’s mine, and when asked where she bought it so we might purchase one, she says, It was a donation! So trying to ignore her rudeness we proceeded into the store to find Halloween costumes. After trying on a white lab coat, the tag fell off. So I carried the articles up to the counter I wanted to purchase and explained to the clerk about the tag. The manager, (who was standing behind the clerk) speaks up and says, Then you can’t get the sale price for none of it I’m not a thief and certainly wouldn’t switch a tag for a 2 dollar discount so this upset me greatly. I left all of my purchases there and left. While waiting in line the manager could be heard complaining loudly about another group of women she felt didn’t grasp the concept of NOT FOR SALE (referring to everything in the front of the store she claimed was hers. Salvation Army is supposed to help people and berating them shouldn’t even be tolerated. They also count on donations from people like myself and my friends to keep running, so for an employee to say a donated item can not be purchased should be told to the many people who donate with the expectation it will be sold. I myself will not donate again and neither will my friends. I’m sure the other group of women who left as well, have a new outlook on the business as well.

Suggested solution:

That female manager should be fired!
