The Salvation Army USA complaint: Failure to answer or return calls, texts regarding issues concerning family member.

My complaint:

For weeks attempts have been made to get ahold of my daughters casemanager to ask questions regarding housing, text messages, emails will go unanswered. On the occasion on 1623 my daughter had àn appt.and she did a two way call where I attempted to ask casemanager ,Andrew Vallejos questions regarding housing issues for my daughter, he was rude,and aggressive over the phone claiming he had the right to tell me nothing, how overworked is and doesn’t have time for repeated calls. This young man is perhaps working in the wrong field, he obviously has little people skills or understanding of protocol needed to assist the public, clients or families.

Suggested solution:

I believe that perhaps casemangers in general are overworked and overwhelmed, but its clear training to work with families in proper communication ,follow thru with message, information. This young man should be made aware that a clients family is part of the treatment and needs to be acknowledged. Rude,bias insensitive behavior is counter productive. Proper training is highly needed, communicatio skills needed.
