My complaint:

At 75 years old, I have donated and purchased to SA for years. I was dismayed to find that at the store In Round rock, Texas would only allow ONE cash register to check people out.

I shopped, and had about $50 worth of merchandise in my cart. There were over 20 people in one long line at the check out counter. their were two registers… one was being occupied by the manager but was not checking out the regular customers. I am mobility impaired. At 3 minutes a transaction, I would have to stand in line for a minimum of 45 minutes or so.

when i asked about opening the second register, i was told the manager would not allow more than one register open. i was then told i could ‘sit and wait’ for my turn.

I left my basket and the store.

In the meantime, I have been trying to talk to someone at 404-728-1300 to express my distress. after over 6 calls and 3 days, i still haven’t received a return call. correction. i did receive one but was on another line and unable to take the call.

i don’t think i’ll shop there again and since there is not another store convenient to me, you’ve lost another customer. i’m removing my bumper sticker.

i really don’t understand why people are treated this way. we are not cattle.

Suggested solution:

have the round rock store open and man two registers at all times. provide some convenience for those who are disabled or mobility impaired.
