The Cheesecake Factory complaint: Unprofessional, rude conduct from Dan the manager

My complaint:

We were charged more than the price on the menu we were given. The name on the menu was dynamite shrimp for $11, but when we received our ticket the name on it was Thai Chili Shrimp for$15. When we asked the waitress about it she said the name and price had been changed. Shortly thereafter the mgr came overand asked about our concern. When we shared it with him he had a very dismissive
nonchalant attitude as if our concern wasn’t valid. We ordered fron a Skinny menu that he said had been changed 6 months ago and we couldn’t have seen there. However, we did. Otherwise, how would we know it was once called dynamite shrimp. He implied that we we lying and said he had better things to do than argue with us as he walked away. He wouldn’t even acknowledge that the restaurant could have made a mistake and didn’t dispose of all the menus. When we insisted that we had seen an old menu, he sarcastically said as he continued to walk away, I will look to all of tonight just for you. I have eaten in hundreds of restaurants, perhaps even thousands as I was 76 on January 30th. We were celebrating my birthday. Dan by far is the rudest mgr I have ever encountered. Most managers are professional, accommodating and work really hard to resolve the issue, but not Dan. My husband, niece and I will never eat at this location again.

Suggested solution:

They should give us a gift certificate for the cost of our meal which ended up being $87.20 after he reluctantly took of 1 Thai Chili Shrimp. The waitress had charged for 2 ice teas and had to take off $4. This ruined my birthday celebration.
