My complaint:
On Wednesday 22nd this week we went into the garage for our fuel as usual. However the one pump space for petrol available had what appeared to be a large stain on the floor right by the pumps; I had no option but to walk in this area. When I got into the car there was a very strong smell of petrol, which proved to be on my shoes when we got home. And despite scrubbing the soles with hot soapy water they still smell very strongly of fuel, I also had the remove the carpet as it was damp with the fuel from my shoes. They both still smell despite more scrubbing etc, etc.
Suggested solution:
Maybe by offering a voucher for a quantity of petrol on our next visit. Is it not possible for an attendant to keep a lookout for such spillage from time to time and take steps to clean it up.
I feel if a customer were silly enough to be smoking at that pump site, heaven knows what could have happened!!
