My complaint:
For several weeks now when I visit this store they have asked me if I would like any scratch cards. I have bought some in the past but find it worrying that this has resulted in them asking me every time I visit. If I was addicted this could be all the encouragement I needed.
Today I visited the store to cash in a winning scratch card for £20. Again I was encouraged to buy more scratch cards. This completely distracted me from using my Clubcard-they didn’t remind me about this so I lost out on savings.
This is not acceptable. People should not be encouraged to gamble and I do feel the comments made are scripted. Conversely despite opportunities to save significant amounts of money by using my Clubcard this was not mentioned.
Suggested solution:
Please stop this!
