My complaint:
I bought a charlie bighams meal deal for £15. I picked up a chicken tikka curry, dauphine potatoes and a sticky toffee pudding.
When I scanned it through the self service till it came to £18. A young man came over and I explained I picked this up in the meal deal section, he scanned each item on his phone and told me the chicken tikka curry was not in the deal. I told him there were lots of them all in the meal deal section and he said we’ll they shouldn’t be there and you have to pay full price. I said we’ll you need to get staff to move these meals so no one else picks them up which he ignored and walked away. I told him to take the side and dessert off as I was not paying £18 when it was clearly in the meal deal section and not just one of them, there were lots. Young man came across rude and was disinterested in what I was saying to him.
Very bad customer experience and not even an apology.
Suggested solution:
Well if the young man was more pleasant and apologised then I wouldn't be complaining so I would like a voucher.
