My complaint:
This evening, I went to your store (2778) on King Street in Hammersmith with two coupons for Pepsi Max. These coupons were given to me with samples of the product, and on which the redemption information has your name and logo.
The cashier refused to take them as he was instructed by his manager to do so. I requested to speak to the manager who reported that he had been inundated with them and declared that they were not real. He tried to tell me that he had too many of them and that they were fakes. I assured him that in a promotion that would be the case – for customers to try the product and then start buying it.
I assure you that these coupons were given to by representatives who were handing out the product. The manager at the store, Raj, said he was instructed by corporate to no longer accept them.
Tesco owes me £2.30 and an apology for my inconvenience.
My coupons expire on 20 September.
