My complaint:

I have a Equity Line of credit. I when to bank on Columbia Ave to close out account and pay off any balance, the bank stated it was done after they did it on there computer. 122120 received letter from Director of Loan Operations Rick Kuhn giving me a refund amount of $10.99. I still thought it was closed but on 010621 had to go back to bank again to get letter to verify revolving line of credit was paid off and closed 121420 .Received letter from teller saying it was closed , Went to another bank 5700 beckley rd battlecreek they told me bank never processed the Line of credit of credit correctly. So she stated that they still have to do a discharge of lien for home Equity line of Credit and charge me fees to get it all done. I line to file my complaint to the
FDIC and licene board why is this bank allowed to be a bank. I feel I should not be liable for this bank lack of conducting their self as a licensed banking business.

Suggested solution:

Complete the discharge of lien for home Equity line of credit. At no cost to the customer.
Account 04401127255-00001
And send letter of aplogize to customer and send letter stated account closed and lein on house removed.
