Swoop Airlines complaint: Bare minimum

My complaint:

Flew with swoop for the first time and probably my last. Flight is cheap sure but it’s $50 for a carry on then $50 for a checked bag so unless you’re travelling with just your purse it really isn’t all that cheaper. You still have to pay for seating during check in where as most airlines at check in seating is free. Swoop is owned by westjet and Westjet includes carry on and free seating selections at check-in. Swoop also put us on a 5 hour delay. They “cancelled” our first flight might us on the next one 4 hours later which wasn’t a problem really we had a weeks notice of this then that flight was delayed an hour. What I personally found most disgusting was that they were charging for water on the flight…a basic human necessity. They also weren’t accepting cash or debit, only credit and not all people have a credit card, I was staying at an all inclusive resort in punta cana. I did not bring any of my cards, only cash and i was flying with my 18 year old sister who only has a debit card and we were denied water, after coming from the dominican republic, a very hot country, where i suffered from heatstroke for majority of our trip. Westjet (their owners) give out free water, pop, juice, cookies and pretzels on the flight. due to the delay as well, swoops air passengers rights pages said i was entitled to food and drink vouchers, which we never got. I then got a nose bleed as we landed, we were stuck on the tarmac for about 15 minutes, i asked for a tissue and the flight attendant asked if i had enough water to drink today…. i was completely dumbfounded.

Suggested solution:

Give out free water on their flights.
