My complaint:

I switched to straight talk purchased the phone and service plan, 9 days after activation my service ended and I had to purchase another card. I was having issues with service and found out that I wasn’t receiving calls or messages from friends or family and I reached out to tech support for assistance. The phone was constantly requesting updates and I was getting repeated messages from days prior, and my service end date kept changing and my service ended 10 days early I was forced to purchase another unlimited service plan few days later the phone would freeze up and I had to power down the phone and turn back on for each use. I called Staight talk tech support and thought the problem was fixed/ after a half hour the phone was only able to make emergency calls. I borrowed another phone and contacted Straight Talk again where I learned that my phone number and password code had been changed to my device and straight talk wouldn’t do anything to resolve the problem. I had to make repeated calls back to them as I was hung up on each time I called. I was told that the Sim card number didn’t match my phone and that the phone number I was providing them didn’t match. I spent 2 days repeatedly calling them and trying to resolve the problems. I was hung up on every time. I then went into a Verizon store and was assisted by the manager there, he spent 4 hrs on the phone with Staight talk with No results. At that time I was told only thing I could do inorder to have a working phone was to purchase a new phone and service plan and that I was going to lose my phone number of over 20 years. Next day I called Staight talk again explained the situation and asked for a refund, I was told before I was transferred to the refund department that they needed more information and there was steps they needed to do first. I repeated all the same information that I had the previous two days and within 20 minutes the old phone was working and I had my original phone number attached to the phone. I went to the Verizon store to find out if I would be able to attached my previous phone number to the new phone and what I needed to do. 2 hours later when I returned home I found out that another phone number had been attached to the Staight talk phone and I had to go through the entire process again to get the phone and my number back yet again.

Suggested solution:

I would like a full refund of my expenses and they can have the phone in its original box back
