My complaint:
I suffer from extreme anxiety and I happen to shop for the elderly and disabled. As part of my job I am required to take photos of items I can not get off there list or why I have to get substitutes. Not to mention when I use the cash app for my own shopping. This so called head of the department came up to me and yelled at me for taking pictures I explained to her it one is part of my job and two none of her business after she had already aggressively come up to me to question me like I am some sort of criminal. She told me it was her business because it was her store. Needless to say I started having a panic attack and then I saw her talking to another manager and I went up and asked for her name both managers blatantly refused to give me her name all while she acted like she did nothing wrong. They said they already reported it to the head supervisor and would meet me at the front desk. The supervisor when she came over was very nice but had no idea what was going on and couldn’t give me the name of the employee and said she would talk to them but wasn’t sure who it was. I went out to my car shaking and crying. I called my boss and her daughter and made a formal complaint of harassment on my job. I have never been so humiliated in my life. This was very unprofessional and now every time I go there I’m going to feel threatened and anxious.
Suggested solution:
I honestly don’t think a simple talking to is the way to handle an employee whose supposed to be in charge of others. That was completely unprofessional and I doubt it’s her first time talking to people that way. Such a shame to have that personality being in charge of others those poor staff.
