My complaint:

Today (81022) my phone battery had died and was supposed to call MTM (the state transportation for Medicaid recipients) to get my Lyft ride back home as that’s what the utilize when they’re unable to get a regular company of theirs. I asked the store customer service deck if I could use theirs and at first they denied me but then another associate said I could. The first two times, MTM had a long wait time to get a representative and finally when I did get someone, the call was disconnected in the middle of them helping me. The third time I got someone, the store manager told me I could only have 5 more minutes as she couldn’t tie up the store phone line. The agent was going as fast as she could, but then the manager said I absolutely had to hang up. I was literally two minutes away from getting that ride home! I am disabled and this was for a medical ride home from the pharmacy, she could have been a bit more compassionate. I had to wait an hour for the buses to be able to bring me back home (because of Ripta driver shortages) when I could’ve been home in ten minutes with that Lyft from MTM. I’m lucky I even got home! This was an emergency, and there needs to be a phone a customer can use ion case, like Walgreens and many other stores have.

Suggested solution:

I'd like that manager to be spoken with about people with disabilities needing accommodations, and I would like a store creditgift card for my time and trouble, as it was very embarrassing and anxiety enducing.
