My complaint:
I recently discovered an issue where a Steam feature (Steam Cloud) – which I had disabled in settings – had started to behave like it was enabled. The result was an untold amount of personal data being removed from my PC, from areas that the program has never been given access to. This was done without notice or request for consent. I confronted Steam Customer Support about but they repeatedly ignored everything I wrote and then just closed the ticket down. I expressed concern that their client was behaving like a virus and had no idea how much of my personal data had potentially been stolen, this was ignored also.
Suggested solution:
At the very least, acknowledging it would be a start. But right now I expect clarity on what information their client took from my PC, and corrective action in removing it from their Cloud storage system or wherever else they have placed it without my consent.
