Square complaint: Square device did not work two Saturdays in row … customer service not available and sales lost!

My complaint:

Although the square device worked in May, it did not work at all on August 12th. I called customer service and discovered it was unavailable on weekends and was referred to online support. The online support was completely unsatisfactory and did not resolve anything. I lost $90 in sales. I spent one hour on the phone in the following week to insure the process worked on August 19th. However, the problems persisted. I contacted online support on August 19th and was eventually informed that the Square representative had to step away but had left notes for somebody else. This was ridiculous. What was this intended to convey?

Eventually, after losing sales on August 19th I was TEMPORARILY able to enter the customer’s credit card information into my iPhone. I do not know if those sales were recorded and money will be deposited into my account. Did I essentially give away merchandise for no payment?
THEN the Square app would not allow me to manually enter credit card numbers. I lost $75 in sales on August 19th when the Square would not accept a manual entry of the customers credit card numbers.

When I found a way to get my Square customer code, I was given TWO different customer codes for the same small business. The customer service telephone operations were NO HELP whatsoever. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told there are no supervisors.

I have now, over two Saturdays, lost $165.00 in sales and the Square customer service personnel will offer no reimbursement or any other form of customer satisfaction resolution to me! I am beyond upset about all of this.

Suggested solution:

Provide new/better Square equipment and pay me for lost sales. Also, the customer service is lacking and should be improved (actual customer service on weekends AND the ability to speak with a supervisor when needed).
