My complaint:

I waited at Shoppers PICK UP area for 25 minutes, with no one coming to ask how they can help me. I’m 81 with a walker because of bad back and balance problems. I had to sit on walker after standing approx. 5 min. with no one else around at the time, and not one came up to me and ask how they can help me.
One loud rude woman shouted from a different till . . DO YOU NEED HELP! I said Yes. She flipped me off and just carried on with what she was doing, and she herself took everyone else who came in behind me, even asking me to move out of the way. There were three people working there plus the male druggist, but none of them came over to greet me nor give me my prescription that was faxed in. They could tell me to get out of the way but they couldn’t ask if I needed help. I was there to simply pick up my potassium pills that were faxed in earlier and should have been ready for pick up. After 25 minutes the loud woman said something to me, I really didn’t hear what she said but I saw her turn to the two girls behind her and the one older one said she’s getting my pills ready but didn’t have the courtesy to tell me that they weren’t ready and would have them ready in a few minutes. After that 25 minute long wait the loud woman begrudgingly brought me the pills and charged me. When I said that my pills are covered, she grabbed the pills and grunted in disgust, and slammed things down, stomped from one area to the next and was utterly rude, not professional in any way and so were the other two women that just walked past me several times and didn’t even ask if they could help me. I was not rude or impatient, I just stayed in line (as I’m suppose to) until this one rude woman told me to move out of the way so she could take care of those coming in after me, still not asking or offering to help. The drugstore is across the street from me. I stood for approximately 5mi. but had to sit on my walker for the next 20 minutes until I received my pills, the still had to contend with that rude woman for another 5 minutes until she corrected the error she made.
The druggist came over before that woman finished correcting the mistake she made to explain how I should take the prescribed potassium pills etc. He was kind. I just wish that he would tell his staff that they need to show the customary code of polite behavior in society particularly to the customers. If I were a loud, rude person, I wouldn’t be writing this complaint. I treat people kindly. I’m not a fighter, I have always been a peacemaker and especially now that I am a weak 81 year old, I just am not rude or unkind even when people are to me. I thought I was going to have a heart attack right then and there. There is absolutely no need to have what happened to me, to ever happen to anyone else. Thank you for listening. I hope you will take care of this problem for me.

Suggested solution:

Need staff that are professional
