My complaint:
I am really not one to write bad reviews but this Shoppers takes the cake in poor customer service. Be prepared to wait at least half an hour to drop off or pick up your prescriptions. This pharmacy is extremely understaffed and always busy no matter the hour. One time I waited THREE HOURS in the store just to speak to the pharmacist about new medication I was prescribed. Another time, the pharmacy tech gave me SOMEONE ELSE’S medication and I only noticed while leaving the pharmacy. Another time, I got a text message that my medication is ready and when I went the next day to pick it up – they said it was an error and it was never even filled!!!! I had to wait another hour for them to fill it since they were so busy. They are extremely unprofessional and not unorganized. I called Shoppers head office to leave a complaint more than once and never heard back. I will be taking my business elsewhere. STAY AWAY WHILE YOU still CAN!!
Suggested solution:
Hire more staff at the Bayview and York Mills location, make sure the staff know to give patients their correct medication versus someone else's. Answering the phone would also be nice.
