My complaint:

A new prescription was sent in for my fiance earlier in the afternoon and we went to pick it up. He is epileptic and can have a seizure at anytime especially when agitated. While they were searching for his prescription (which then they claimed they had not received even though it was sent in 3 hours before) he became agitated and started to go into a seizure. (Also of note the prescription is for less medication as they doctors feel he is on too much). A customer grabbed a chair to assist him (his seizures are partials so he is stable in a chair). The pharmacist then came from behind the counter and took the chair away from him and left he collapsed on the floor. Instead of having someone with first aid come to assist him they left him in the middle of the floor and continued to serve customers over top of him. I get covid protocol says don’t use the chairs. But to continue to serve customers over top of him is extremely bad. To not ask if he is ok is very bad. And to ignore him is absolutely uncalled for. If it wasn’t for the customers around he would have been left there with no help.
This is not the only issue we have had with this pharmacy (also all these issues have been in about a 14 day span) The pharmacists there don’t like to honor prescriptions. When my fiance was released from the hospital they questioned his prescription and took over 4.5 hours to fill it. When I dropped off a prescription they refused to fill the entire prescription because the doctor did not put my health card on it (not something you really want to hear when you are already dealing with a difficult decision of inducing a miscarriage because there is an issue with your pregnancy and to be treated like I was irresponsible and just aborting a pregnancy was also not appreciated.) The pharmacists treat us like a nuisance instead of a customer. They have 0 compassion unless you are a regular in which case they will give you your pill straight into your mouth (how is that a covid protocol)
I understand that my fiances prescriptions are pretty strong and not usually seen at a small pharmacy. But he is epileptic and has been since he was 11. He has a high tolerance and to treat him like they have is not good.
Also to tell an epileptic they can go without for a day is not the right response.
I was also very insulted when I was called his MOTHER. I honestly can not pass as his mother and just because I choose to speak up when they tell him he doesn’t need a prescription for a night is not called for nor does it give them the right to label me as his mother.

Suggested solution:

-first aid training
-customer service training
-basic human decency
-review covid protocols (they don't distance from anyone or wear proper ppe)
