My complaint:
I used one credit card to hold my room over 2 months ago for July 26 thru July 30, 2023 , upon arrival I asked to change credit card to charge. I gave the receptionist at the front desk the new card and everything was good so I thought. I started getting declined charges on my card I asked not to be charged. I went to the front desk the next morning.
She assured me this would be cleared up. I checked out in person at the front desk. Everything was fine so I thought until I got home, received another declined charge to my card. I called The Sheraton on Monday July 31. He said he would email me documents to approve charges I received another decline on August 1. 2023 no email from him until August 4, 2023 at 7:30ish this morning.
I have been calling the Hotel to resolve this issue left my phone. I worked hard to keep my credit standing in a good place and now I have this hanging over me. I want to correct the wrong. That’s all I want to do. Please help me to resolve this issue.
Suggested solution:
Remove charges from the card I asked not to be charged and add charges to the correct card, and give me something in writing indicating this was all in error to straighten out my credit history.
