My complaint:
Roblox has failed with its customer service time and time again, especially when it applies to actual bullying and harassment issues involving race, sexism, and the general well being of its players. Today I was banned for the first time for some incredibly stupid reasons. I was banned for: correcting someones grammar twice, saying lol, saying you heard me, saying I would report someone for spamming (Which they were doing consistently), telling said person that the situation wasnt as bad as they were claiming, saying where the player was located on the map during a slasher game btc back top corner, and the list goes on. Every single one of these supposed Offenses they claimed were harassment. Now. To explain the backstory, the kid these supposed Offenses were aimed at, had threatened to cut off my head (in a very detailed way), threatened to kill my family, etc merely because I asked them politely to play the game correctly (they were the killer and camping which was clearly against the rules of the game. Roblox issues have not been isolated but this one takes the cake. Sure they have moderation, but refuse to look at context, and refuse to ban the person actually causing the issues. I also recently had some gal friends dealing with people making disgusting sexist comments about women. And what did Roblox do? Did they ban the men that were causing the issue? no. They banned my friends claiming sexism was too much of an adult topic for Roblox. Did the boys receive any warnings, mutes, or bans? nope. The moderation is actually horrific. Toddlers could do better.
Suggested solution:
Immediately unban me, work on better moderation skills and work hard to enforce context and appropriate warnings for actual offenses.
