My complaint:

Hello. On Tuesday, November 22nd around 6:00 pm or so, I explained to the customer sales rep that I have just paid $100 and would be able to pay the rest of the amount tomorrow. He basically said “no”. Didn’t try to work with me at all. I then asked why my monthly bill (just for internet) was $90 per month, (I never agreed to this amount)and he had little to no reply. I would never pay that amount for internet only. Absolutely ridiculous.
He didn’t seem to work with me at all. All he said was I had an outrageous bill amount that needs to be paid now.
Money is so tight right now, and I was very upset he didn’t try to work with me. I am single mom and I take care of my child child who is sick (rare disease) full time. I am not expecting to get a free ride or anything on the lines of that. However, it would be been nice if he could of tried to work out options. I Find it hard to believe that there were no other options. As I mentioned above, I paid $100 and told him I’ll pay the rest of the amount first thing the next morning
I am leaving RCN bc the prices are insane. I only use internet. I do not use any cable and I did not sign off on cable. Internet only.
I feel strongly I am getting ripped off and therefore disconnected from RCN.
Trust me, I am not one to ever right commentsreviews but I was extremely upset that I had to disconnect without giving any other options.

Suggested solution:

Offer other options. Train reps to offer why or other options.
