Qatar Airways complaint: Business class seat not working and flight delays

My complaint:

Hello,
Myself, Ashish Joshi, I am the frequent flyer in Business class between India and US and have been using services of British Airways, Qatar Airways and Emirates Airlines. My British airways membership number is 36682317.
My recent trip from India to USA via Qatar Airways were horrible. My original travel schedule and actual travel time were as under:
Mumbai to Doha (Business class): Original Departure date and time: 73122, 4:25: Original arrival date and time: 73122, 5:15: Actual Departure date and time: 73122, 4:25: Actual arrival date and time: 73122, 5:15: [On time]
Doha to San Francisco (Business class): Flight no. QR 737 (Seat 5A): Original Departure date and time: 73122, 8:15: Original arrival date and time: 73122, 13:45: Actual Departure date and time: 73122, 15:00: Actual arrival date and time: 73122, 20:30: [Delay of 7 hours discomfort of 16 hours in the flight]
San Francisco to Portland (Business class):Original Departure date and time: 73122, 16:10: Original arrival date and time: 73122, 17:50: Actual Departure date and time: 8122, 9:25: Actual arrival date and time: 8122, 11:15: [Delay of 11 hours]

There has been delay of flight (Doha to San Francisco) by 7 hours.

Now the worst part is when I boarded the flight at Doha for San Francisco, I noted that my business class seat were not in working condition, I approached the crew member there, they tried to make it work themselves, but could not succeed. They finally have to call the Engineers to fix the problem. Initially 2 engineers came, they also could not fix the problem, then entire team of engineers came one by one, all tried and failed. This took almost one hour. I was stupidly standing in a row like a fool, everyone looking at me as if I am creating the problem. This was very worse situation for me. After all their efforts for one hour, they mentioned to the crew member that problem is fixed and immediately went away without me or crew member to recheck. When crew member and myself checked, the problem remains and engineers have given false intimation, they should have wait there until we . This is really unprofessional behavior and surprising none of the engineers could fix the issue after spending almost an hour. Even though the seat problem were not solved, I was asked to accept the seat as it is, which I denied and stood with my stand that either I need another seat or fix the problem. I was informed that there has been no another seat available in the aircraft. But I was sticking my stand. Later-on, Captain also came and discuss with me to coordinate. I realized that although my comfort is necessary (since payment is made is business class comfort), on the other hand, all other passengers (300) are also suffering due to this further delay and airline too will make a huge financial loss for further delay, considering the situation, I accepted the uncomfortable seat as it is, so that all other passengers do not suffer and your airline too does not suffer a huge financial loss. We finally settle for raising a claim for compensation for mental and physical disturbance which has been fully agreed by Captain and all other crew members, they were in support with me.

Please note that if I would have not accepted the non-working seat, flight would not have taken off that is sure as I was stick to my decision for not to use that seat, Qatar airline would have made a huge financial loss and all other passengers also would have got frustrated on account of delay and it would have affect the reputation of Qatar airways. I expect your support to me for being kind to everyone at the cost of self-comfort.

During the entire journey of 16 hours between Doha to SFO, I was totally uncomfortable, I could not even sleep or sit properly, as there was no seat movement possible, manually adjusting seat were very tough and not practical every time. This was worst seat experience even than the economy class. I was informed by crew member that this incidence has been reported by them in their record and have been escalated. You may also reach out to them.

Due to this mental and physical disturbance and not getting any seat benefit Inspite of taking the business class ticket, I would like to raise claim of USD 100,000. Request you to please approve it, as it has saved your company from a huge financial loss and reputation.
