ParcelCompare complaint: Cheating the customers money

My complaint:

I used their service twice.

First experience – I booked their service to deliver a letter to Sri Lanka by 31012023. It was a power-of- attoney letter that needs to be delivered before signing of an agreement. They took so much time telling that they cannot generate the label because they can’t find the postcode. However, I thought this might be true, because in Sri Lanka postcode is not a must. Finally they collect the letter on 31012023 (on the day that they supoose to deliver) and deliver it on few days later. For this delay, I had to pay £35.

Second experience – Last week (0302),I booked their service to deliver a parcel to Malta and this time I paid for their next day servise (which is comparatively the heighest cost). It contained my dad’s favourite suit and I want him to have this on his birthday. Then again they kept on telling that they cannot generate the labels because address is incorrect ….the phone number is incorrect… bla….. bla….bla…..I ed them they are all correct. I realised that they used these excuses to take time and I checked their reviews. Then I understood the story. This company doesn’t have the staff to collect the parcels. Until they found a person, they find excuses to delay the process. Sometimes they have charged twise from the cutomers. No refunds has been given. Cheated so many customers. On Monday (0602), I asked them to refund my money because they couldn’t deliver it on time. Ricky (the person who was in contact me ) keep on telling me his team is fixing the problem. After 4.00 pm I asked them to refund my money without wasting my time because I thought that I can book a flight to deliver this on 72 (my dad’s birthday). Unfortunately, all the direct flights were booked and the remaining flights cost were so expensive. Then I talked to my brother and asked him to postpon the party for 2 days thinking that they could deliver it before that. Today (72) I sent them 2 emails asking whether they can deliver it within 2 days or whether they can refund my money? No reply came. They have no responsibility for customers money. After taking money, we have to go behind them. Could you please looking to this mater. If you check the reviews, you can get a better idea. There are so many customers got into their racket.

Suggested solution:

If they cannot deliver on the agreed date they should not take orders. Customer satisfaction is the most important thing to run a business. They charged more to deliver in few days but the deliverty goes few days later. It's better to sue this company without letting them to play with customer's money.
