Oman Air complaint: Refund not yet initiated after Oman Air cancelled the flights

My complaint:

Hi There,

We had booked two way tickets from KOC to YYZ around March 2020 and the flights were cancelled by Oman air. However I am still yet to get my refund processed, even though its more than 1.5 years !!!!.

I did raise with the WebSalesRefund team but they are having a careless attitude.

Below are timelines for the refund we raised:

March 8, 2021 – Refund initiated.
May 5, 2021 – initial acknowledge of refund email with various options – id 270656.
May 8, 2021 – requested for refund – id 281187

July 12, 2021 – Omain Air is asking for ticket details when they have all the details with them when we raised the cancellation request – clearly not a professional way of working.

August 19, 2021 – Oman Air requested for new bank card number stating that the ones used are expired.

We replied back to them stating that the credit card is still valid as we have renewed them and asked them to use the same card used for booking the tickets.

Sept 20, 2021 – Oman Air comes back with the same question regarding the bank details which they asked a month ago.

From the way the emails are being sent, not sure whats their plan, are they really looking forward to refund us or just playing around ???

Suggested solution:

Since they have all our details and we mentioned the booking PNR from their system, they should have all the details related to flights and banking details.

Even after sharing all the details, they keep going backwards with their questions and our refund is delayed. There is no professionalism from their part.

They could have ly refunded us since the flights were cancelled by Oman Air and they already have the details with them.
