Complaint: No seat despite having paid for train tickets

My complaint:

I have paid for tickets with Virgin Trains 23rd December – 28th December for a return journey from London to Carlisle and I have not received a seat for the return journey. I have spent no end of time phoning them up and the seats have not been released. I called again today and was told I would have to collect further coupons. I am not messing around. I have paid for these tickets and would expect a seat and I am not going to keep phoning these morons.

Desired solution:

Compension and a seat number. This company is a disgrace.

11 months ago - I have tried to contact their complaints department or speak to someone higher up. All my emails bounced back and I was left hanging on to music when I asked to be put in touch with someone who could deal with my complaint. This is disgusting considering the amount of money charged for a poor service
