My complaint:

I am a long-term customer at No Frills and have been shopping at this location for the last 7 years. While all the cashiers and staff are really polite, gentle, and very welcoming, there is a senior member who consistently exhibits rude behavior towards everyone around her. This individual has been impolite to me and my family members on multiple occasions. Initially, I considered the possibility of her having a bad day, but the behavior has persisted. I feel compelled to report an incident that occurred today, February 8th, 2024, around 11:30 AM.

While I was checking out my items at a cashier’s till, this senior member took some of the gifts No Frills was distributing to all customers due to an ownership change. When the cashier inquired about the situation, the senior member reacted with evident rudeness, yelling at her and making humiliating remarks. Upon the cashier’s request for some gifts to hand to me, the senior member threw some on the belt, uttered curses, and then proceeded to the self-checkout area.

This experience prompts me to question the treatment of employees and customers at No Frills. There have been complaints about this individual to previous owners, but it appears no action has been taken. I am seeking a follow-up to learn if any coaching or corrective actions are planned. The behavior witnessed is not what one would expect from a senior store member, especially when it visibly affects the well-being of employees.

Suggested solution:

Have her coached by the owner and ask her not to be rude to her coworkers and the customers. And if it still persists, then I don\'t think she should be working there.
