Mytrip.com complaint: Unacceptable “price hike” due to the airlines but the final price was not shown throughout the booking process

My complaint:

First time using mytrip.com as recommended by Skyscanner. The travel agency charged me a DIFFERENT price after I paid. The final price does NOT reflect anywhere throughout the booking process until I received SMS from my credit card.

I talked to the customer service and he ed that the price I paid is different to the price showed to me and the reason is that the moment I made the payment there was a “price hike” by the airlines. However after I paid, even after I refreshed the website several times, the original lower price keeps showing but not the hiked price that charged me, which is HK$1000 more!!! I never experienced this on any website before!!! This is totally a SCAM. The agency asked me to call the airlines BY MYSELF (there are two) but they cannot provide any evidence that which airline(s) charged me higher or their contact numbers!!

My booking went through at 11:20am. Attached screenshots 11:22am, 11:26am, 11:28am of mytrip.com and Skyscanner 11:35am AFTER I PAID.

Suggested solution:

Cancel the ticket and refund the whole amount right after I called, before the ticket was issued!!!
Help me to get hold to the airlines
