My complaint:

Copy of e-mail sent to Morrisons, although unsure if email address is valid.

I visited the Chesterfield branch on Chatsworth Road yesterday and spent £142.97. I didn’t read the small print on the back of the voucher and was disappointed to see that the discount had not been applied. I went to customer services and the friendly assistant pointed out that the offer did not include spirits and that the purchase of spirits made the offer null and void. When I got home I read the terms again and realised that this made no sense. I had spent £40 on spirits but the bill was for £142.97 and I can’t see how this made the coupon invalid.

I phoned 0345 6116111 this morning to discuss this and was advised that the offer did not include wines either. I pointed out that this is not mentioned on the voucher and was told that I’m just telling you how it is. I asked who I could complain to and was hung up on.

I am now very annoyed.
