My complaint:
When meta introduced the new meta account requirement for Oculus quest 2 owners I had problems merging my Facebook Oculus account with m new meta account. It would not allow me to see any friends or add new ones when connected and I couldn’t use any new meta apps as it said I didn’t have a meta account even though I was logged in with one. After much resistance when told to factory reset my device and being assured I would still have all my games and apps after just re downloading them I found this not to be the case and the system requested I pay for them all over again. It’s now over two weeks later and I still don’t have my games and as I purchased a second quest 2 and copies of all the games I had so I could play them with my girlfriend overseas I’m still unable to do so. In the last reply I was told all my games were under a different Oculus account email and I should log in with that instead. As usual this was total bs as meta.com says that email doesn’t have a meta account and is actually merged with the Facebook account and I should log in with that instead. When I try to do just that I get a whole new error telling me they are having technical difficulties. If meta support are employing chimps to answer support questions they need more training as I would get more sense from a stack of Lego bricks. To add insult to injury it takes at least 24hrs for them to respond and sometimes up to 3 days !!! And this is after my case has allegedly been escalated ????
