My complaint:
on 11252022 i purchased approx.$7000.00 in materials for a garage package and i only took the sheeting and some of the framing lumber with me and left the rest for another load as i have done several times in the past. approx. 2 days later on 11272022 i returned and loaded the rest of the framing materials and lumber for trusses. the third time i returned to the same Menard’s for a different project and i loaded the garage door and materials for my other project. On 12172022 i returned to load a special order for a project and to load the rest of my garage package. at this time i tried to get in the gate and they said it was an invalid order . the gate attendant called up front to manager and i went to front which i spoke with manager and crest hill police department. manager stated that i had got my entire order and they have it on film. which they cannot have because i didnt take any of my roofing ($1000.00) no soffit or fascia($550.00) no siding( $1000.00) and no garage door stops or sill trim($460.00) so menards has the rest of my materials totaling $3010.00 and refuses to even let me back on the property. i am a small business but i spend a lot of money at menards for the past 6 years. in that time i have spent well over $150,000.00 each year and have never had a problem until now. now i have a customer that i cannot finish his garage and it is giving me a bad reputation as well. menards needs to honor the materials that i have purchased because at this point i feel like i should sue for them stealing my money and slandering my name. i just want to get my customers garage finished
