Just Eat complaint: The worlds dumbest and most unhelpful customers service

My complaint:

I ordered a takeaway, paid for it through Just eat and 20 minutes later the restaurant called me to tell me they couldn’t deliver my order. They said their ovens had broken down and they could not prepare food. They said they had notified Just eat of this and asked me to do the same to arrange a refund. This is where the farce begins.

Upon contacting just eat, I was asked a bunch of questions by an agent who then decided she could not deal with my complaint and said she was transferring my chat with her to another agent. I was then transferred back into another queue and was now number 18 which took 15 minutes to go down and i was then transferred to some guy called Scott B.
He asked me to wait while he looked through my previous conversation and then came back and asked me what the problem was. I told Scott, everything I’ve written above and he asked me to wait another 5 minutes while he looked into this, I waited and he came back and asked me to wait another 5 minutes as he was gathering intel, I waited again. Then he came back and said, Having looked into it for you I can now give you an updated expected delivery time for your order.

I asked him if he’d even read a single word of what i had told him and he said yes and I’ve looked into this for you and got you a delivery time.

I never asked for a delivery time and I had to again explain to him and highlight certain words in bold capitals that the restaurant had contacted me, told me they could NOT provide me with my order that I have already paid for and that they would NOT be sending my food.
Scott then arrogantly told me well in that case, we’d need to hear from the restaurant before we can do anything

I then replied to him that the restaurant had ALREADY notified Just eat of this and that thier listing on the site had depicted this because they were now showing up as ‘unable to take orders at present’ on the site.

I then began to get annoyed and told Scott this was ridiculous, I had been sat in a chat box for well over half an hour while he messed around going back and forth to wherever he was going and then coming back to me with absolutely zero help or resolution. I told him I had Personally given him all the information he needed to sort this out in a mere few minutes and told him to phone the restaurant himself to verify what I had been saying all along.
His response was to tell me he’d look into this and send me an email and that he would hand over the issue to his supervisor to get me The best outcome

I have never had to deal with a so called professional customer service representative in my life as clueless and unhelpful as this guy. He obviously didn’t read anything I’d written, and he didn’t look into anything barring going to my account and looking at my order that still said it was being delivered. He was unhelpful and just downright incompetent. I still don’t have any food, nor do i have a refund for my order and at the time of writing this complaint, have i have any emails or contact from Just eat. This company is a joke and they should not be allowed to take money off of people if they have nothing in place to sort out problems when they arise.

Suggested solution:

By refunding me for the phantom order I have paid for and compensating me for the near on hour I had to argue with 2 customer service agents who had absolutely no clue what they were doing and the time it's now taken me to put in this complaint.
