My complaint:
Start off this it’s best to watch the cameras because how they act they would probably lie to get outta trouble, but pretty within this one week these workers at the Alton IL Jimmy John’s location they acted really disrespectful when anyone tried to learn or tried to do their job. I like to work fast and Deyvon was like you need to slow down and breath and I always listened to my mangers. Well they fired one guy and they talked bad about him right in front of me and now they are on me. Like all the new people are getting attacked at this one location and what for trying to work hard and do thier job. I’m ashamed of how I was treated working here and how they treated me as a human being so therefore I am forced to make this complaint. I also worked until 2:30 today well after they were so rude and trying so hard to get a hold of corporate I quit because I was tired of them riding my butt for me doing me job. If they do this to people it reflects on the customers to plus there were children I the store today when this went down. I worked 11-2 today but only worked until 1pm so when on the way out I wanted to grab my meal I worked for today plus it was my free meal of the day I got everytime I worked well just because I left and told them I was quitting so they knew what was going on they refused me of my sandwich and see I’m gonna try to be nice on how I say this, but I know I have Worker rights and little work or not I still worked hard to deserve that meal so see right there just showed how rude they were to me, but at the very end I di make a mistake and get made and threw my shirt and hat at the counter and that was a mistake on my part. So I’m sorry for this long complaint, but I was very upset about how they treat people when it’s suppose to be a no violence workplace well there it’s hostile and makes it very hard to work. I have anxiety and that made it go through the roof. First they yelled at first guy they fired because he wasn’t working then they’re mad at a hard worker that’s always on time and did what he was asked see you can’t win with them, but see it reflects them and the company when they act like that and I guess that what jimmy johns really stand for you don’t care how you treat employees or customers just as long as the job gets done right?
Suggested solution:
Work on the management better and make sure customers and employees are all treated as a equal and as a team. Not talk bad about someone on shifts or discriminating against how someone works when everyone works in different ways. Down below I'm just gonna explain it here but how woukd I rate my experience and to the nicest answer would have to be a 1 star just because how they treated everybody especially when they tried. That made me not ever wanna go near at least that jimmy johns or bring my kids to because they're so rude I don't feel safe even stepping inside anymore. That's why I woukd give this review for safety reasons and protect environment and how they need to know these problems and hopefully be addressed.
